Siôn Parkinson is an artist based on the Isle of Mull in Scotland. His practice combines objects, text and voice. Parkinson uses singing and noise-making in his works, which are either recorded and performed, to express a sense of clammy carnality – a fleshiness that hopes to reveal a heightened intimacy between the artist’s body interior and audience.
Since 2013, Parkinson is creative director of visual arts at COMAR, a commissioning agency and rural arts centre in the Inner Hebrides, Scotland.
