Patrick Coyle

A series of works by Patrick Coyle will be posted here between June 2011 and May 2012.

‘The residency extends my understanding of reading as a performative act and of how making sense of the world through language can fall into absurdity. Working with Eileen and Jeremy I have been able to gain a greater critical distance to my work. The unbiased feedback offered by Akerman Daly is that of an editor and an artist working naturally together. Since starting the residency I have performed in new contexts, including salons and book launches; the residency has also led to a new video work made in collaboration between Akerman Daly, Paul Abbott and myself.’
