Scars contains a selection from Warhol superstar Brigid Polk’s collection of ink prints. Reproduced in holograph facsimile are the scars of friends and celebrities, each with their own accompanying explanations of the wounds. Contributors include Andy Warhol, Patti Smith, John Giorno, Bill Berkson, Brice Marden, Hélio Oiticica (his entry is the scar from a knife wound received during a quarrel in one of Rio de Janeiro’s favelas) and many others.
